What we've been doing

• We have implemented the front end (with dummy data) for:
  • Home
    • 
  • Events
    • 
  • Content Management System
    • 

We each ran into issues as this was our first time using React. We had to learn how to use the framework and how to implement the features we wanted. We also had to learn how to use the Tailwind CSS framework.

We noticed that each one of us had different ways of implementing the same feature, such as the cards. This was a good learning experience as we were able to see different ways of implementing the same feature and learn from each other.

Everyone had many differing opinions on design. We had to make compromises to make sure everyone was happy with the design. This will need further discussion in the future, specifically with user testing.

We also began implementing our next phase of features, such as the LLM Chat, Semantic Search, CMS Backend, and Structured Data Upload.

Evaluation

• This is very good progress. These pages are improved from our sketches and prototypes because we have been gaining familiarity with the frontend framework.
• We can focus on key features from here.

What we will be doing

• We made a Gantt Chart for the pages and features to be implemented and by when
• 
• We will spend the winter implementing our features mainly following this Gantt Chart.
